1 Peter 5:6-7

You don’t have to carry your burdens by yourself.

• “Humble yourselves… under the mighty hand of God” — Trust God’s authority and timing, even when you don’t understand what He is doing.
• “That he may exalt you in due time” — God has His timing. You may be going through a difficult season now, but that doesn’t mean He has forgotten you.
• “Casting all your care upon him” — Give God your worries, fears, financial concerns, family concerns, and anything else weighing on you.
• “For he careth for you” — This is the heart of the passage: God cares about you personally.

Casting all your care doesn’t mean ignoring your problems. It means doing what you can while trusting God with what you cannot control.
